Capital of the department of Lambayeque, mystical land with ancient cultures of great archaeological interest, such as the Moche Culture, Lambayeque Culture and Sicán Culture; who left impressive architectural buildings and spectacular tombs of pre-Inca elite characters. There are areas such as Túcume (Valley of the Pyramids), Sicán and especially Sipán, considered as one of the most important archaeological discoveries worldwide, for its richness in ornaments and objects in gold, silver and copper (funerary furnishings and all the majesty of the “Great Lord”, king of the Moches).
